DAVID VINCENT
| David Vincent was a well successful architect from Santa Barbara, who had his life turned upside-down when he witnessed, when he was returning from a business trip, the landing of an extraterrestrial ship. That fact happened during the dawn. He tried to find a short cut to arrive sooner at home, but he got lost and since he was too tired, he decided to stop to rest, next to a closed deserted diner, the place where he saw the flying saucer to land. | ![]() |

He tried to convince
the Santa Barbara authorities, who poked fun of him, the
only one who believed him, was his working partner and
personal friend, Alan Landers, who later became a victim
of the invaders. Since then, Vincent began a lonely war, against an enemy disguised among the humans, a kind of enemy that's hard to be unmasked and opposed to, but he carried on with his crusade. |
| In this struggle, he lost many friends, including his girlfriend Susan Carver. Later he was able to gather a group of people, who like him, believed in the presence of invaders on Earth. That group was known as "The Believers". The activities of this group were financed by his friend, the millionaire Edgar Scoville. | ![]() |
